I have artist block, pure and simple. To jog said block I decided to do what I always to do, dick around DA "pretend" I am working.

Now normally I try not to rant and rave about random things here, in fact this is going to be my first post but after stumbling across some very awsome work by this great artist, [link] I had to sit down and readjust my way of thinking.

I am going to post some random things that is crossing my mind lately, as it is has been troubling and upsetting me lately.

1. I cannot stand so-called cartoon fans, these dicks usually hover 'round the interwebingnetowrksoftomorrow and bring my spirits down by yelling and throwing fits about anime, loony toons and things they find "wrong" which is anything animated.

I cannot stand them, at first they say they love "cartoons" and all things animated but they HATE everything single thing ever printed. And I think they are the reason animation in America is not taken seriously.

2. Hyper-realism; people who think every single thing must be created with attention to detail not even found in real life should be naturally selected by Darwin's chainsaw.

3. Furs, furverts and other sickos that brought down the whole level of being an anthro fan. I love anthro porn, if done right (like an off site artist Kar). But these guys are frightening, to say at the least and makes my stomach sick.

4. Stop bitchin' about how women are drawn as pure fantasy sex toys! This pisses me off because there is a large, near naked guy over there but no one gives a second thought about it. Talk about double standards here.

5. If I cannot do 70 frames per second for a blink, I chose not to. I am a lazy man, deal with it.

6. Fanfiction writers of ffn, pull your GD heads out of your collective A's and realize that sitting on your pedastoles(sp?) while scream at the masses about cameras and other non-sense while, and have, chased all the real fans away and leave the leaches that drink up all of that attention you give them.

I should know, I was one of those fans you chased away.

And on the last note, I love DA, I just realized it today as this place is kind of my home away from home. It may not allow nc-17 work, but after seeing what people put up in that genre I prefer it that way.
